I was contacted by a recruiter in the month of March for the role of Application Engineer @Google. \n\nRound 1 : Coding \nRound 2 : Application Design\nRound 3 : Coding\n\nVerdict : 1st two rounds were good but last round wasn\'t that good so another coding round was scheduled.\n\nRound 4 : Coding\n\nVerdict : This time they were satisfied with coding but said they want more confidence on Application Design.\n\nRound 5 : Application Design\n\nVerdict : The recruiter said the evaluation by the interviewer wasn\'t what was expected. They did not ask me any HLD, just asked DBMS so they will have to conduct more Application Design Rounds.\n\nRound 6 : Application Design\nRound 7 : Application Design\n\nI am fed up with this long and tiring process and am not sure if this role is even that great as compared to SDE roles. After such a tiring process of more than 4 months, the recruiter is not even picking up my calls neither replying to my mails. Google India has really bad recruitment process. \n\nIs there someone who got an offer as AE @Google? Would like to know the compensation details.
