I applied through their portal and HR shortlisted and arranged a call to explain me about the team. Then, the interview process starts...
- A technical behavorial round with the teams manager which was for 45 minutes.
- CoderPad pair programming round with their lead engineer where we will be pair programming. Its a matrix problem where they give us the number of rows and columns and I need to print in a zigzag order.
- Virtual Onsite: This contains 4 rounds and every round has technical and behavorial questions. And the technical questions are not limited, once you finish solving they are ready with a new question.
- Design question using LinkedList (Circular Queue kinda.,)
- System Design on ticketing system.
- String manipulation back tracking problem (phone number/ permutations are good examples).
- Design Decimal class without using wrapper classes.
- Given an array of version numbers in string format, sort and print them out.
- Technical HR round and few questions about AWS as my background involved using AWS services.
Process took around 2 weeks to schedule and finish all interview rounds.
Its a pleasant experience, where every interviewer is friendly and positive.
HR called me the next day saying that they would like to make an offer with me for Sr. Software Engineer L3/L4 role.
After a week, HR called back saying that they decided not to give an offer due to new H1B prevailing wage rule. She said that they cannot offer the package satifying the new rule.
OFFER and NO OFFER ...
Stay positive and move forward. Overall its a wonderful experience and i felt its a great team to work with.
