Round 1 : Online Assessment Test
Description:

• The test had 5 sections and duration was 2 hours 15 minutes. All sections were mandatory.
• The Coding section had 2 programming questions and duration was 30 mins.
• The Computer Science multiple choice section had 7 MCQs and duration was 20 mins.
• The Quantitative Aptitude multiple choice section had 8 MCQs and duration was 25 mins.
• The Advanced Programming section has 1 programming question and duration is 45 mins.
• The Subjective section has 2 questions and duration is 15 mins.
• Each MCQ had 5 marks for correct answer and -2 for wrong answer.
• The subjective section had 2 HR questions that was to be answered in brief.

The question of the coding section were:

• Given a string, you have to check whether the second half of the string can be rearranged into a palindrome or not.
• Given a binary tree, you have to find the number of perfect nodes. Perfect nodes must not be null and should have both the left as well as the right child, and the sum of one subtree should be even and the sum of other subtree should be odd. The nodes of the tree are given in the form of strings(L or R) with respect to the root node and the root node is given.
  • Eg - root = 1, other nodes are given as - 2L, 3R, 4LR.
  • This tree has node with value 1 as root, node with value 2 is the left child of 1, 3 is the right child of 1 and 4 is the right child of 2.

Round 2 : Technical Interview 1
The interviewer asked me to give a brief introduction of myself where I mentioned web development as one of my interests. So he then asked me about the projects that I had done and asked some technical questions regarding the technologies that I had used in one of my projects. Then he asked me to compare some technologies with the ones that I had used. For some of the technologies that he was asking, I had never studied them, so I simply replied that I have never explored this framework and he agreed to that saying that learning one technology is actually enough but you should know why you decided to learn that particular framework or language only.
Eg - he asked me to compare React and Angular, but I had never explored Angular.

Then he asked for my interests in the core subject that I had studied in the past 2 years. I mentioned DS and Algo so he asked which Data Structure you like the most, I replied Linked List and Array so he asked one programming question on Linked List.

• The question was, Given a linked list with next and random pointers, I had to clone the linked list.(https://leetcode.com/problems/copy-list-with-random-pointer/).
• I explained the procedure, then he asked me to code this problem.
• The interviewer had some other approach in his mind. When I explained my approach, he got impressed and said "The interview went well for you as well as me" :-)

This round lasted for about 50 minutes.

Round 3 : Technical Interview 2
The interviewer said that I will just test your programming skills and you need not code anything, you just have to explain me the approach.

He asked 3 coding questions, they were as follows:

• Given the schedule of a train station (the arrival and departure time of several trains), find the minimum number of platforms required at the station.
• Given a snake and ladder board and the positions of the snakes and ladders, you have to find the minimum number of dice throws required to reach 100 from 1. (He asked me to use some data structure here).
• Given a n x m grid, there are coins at some cells, you have to move from the top-left cell to the bottom-right cell collecting the maximum number of coins.

This round lasted for about half an hour.
