Amazon Cloud Support Associate online assessment (Taiwan)

Actually I'm not major in cloud computing or network, instead more interested in machine learning. I just send the application for the role in case it's an oppurtunity to get into big tech, while other positions don't respond me.

From the content of online assessment, this position involves no coding, mostly on solving problems relating to server, connections, cloud service for the customers.

You must be familiar with connection protocal like TCP/IP, UDP, IP...etc, and trouble shooting fundementals when the server is crushed, an URL is not responding, and some OS concepts.

I've to say that I'm not prepared for this position, so I failed on the first stage. But you don't have to be familiar with AWS service for this position, it mostly testing your technical knowledge about network connection, server, OS. And no programming testing, the job is all about solveing customer problems.

For the online assessment process, it includes three stages: First some job simulation test, it's really interesting in my point of view, they give you different circumstances this position might facing, and several choices of solution you may take, and you should decide which is privilage.

Second part is technical knowledge, which including the above field questions, like what should you do when a problem happens. It's multiple choices.

Third part is personal working preference, questions like what kind of characteristic you have in a working environment.

I couldn't provide much information about the assessment, and this is not really my desired position, but it's an interesting experience for an application for big tech.
