Tell me about a situation when you had conflict with your manager

Behavioral questions nowadays are key part of interviews for FAANG and top tier companies. The most commonly asked questions are about resolving conflict. I bet everyone would have resolved conflicts with co-workers and had come to resolutions. Sometimes it would have resulted in your favor. We can think of stories in 'n' number of variations to answer the question about conflict with peers.

Now, when it comes to resolving conflict with your manager, whatever story I could think of, it is lame. Managers are usually experienced and it is hard to think of a situation when I had an idea that was better than my manager's thought and I could convince him on that. Can someone give an example of a situation that doesn't look lame for this question?
