Silly question, but the Pandemic years have mixed up a lot of expectations for 'onsite' interviews. It used to be important to be abe to be interviewed standing in front of a whiteboard where you'd write out your process, pseudocode, & code. But when things became more remote, presenting through typing on a word doc or LeetCode/Hack Reactor setup and speaking/video as you coded remotely became more common for technical assessments.

I never got to practicing presenting on a whiteboard for this subject matter (but I used to teach structural engineering at UC Berkeley & was used to presenting w/ a combo of slideshow & chalkboard, so I appreciate the different styles & demands). As I'm ramping up my interview prep again, I'm debating whether I should invest in a whiteboard to practice coding & system design interviews there, or if simulations sitting at my desk w/ things like the LeetCode Mock Assessments are more realistic for the interview demands these days?
