I had a team matching discussion today with one of the teams. The interviewer started with a brief introduction and asked about my current project. I shared the details within 5 minutes, and then I asked about the team and their work. The tech stack they use didn’t align with my skills, and the only question he asked me was whether I’d be open to working with a different tech stack. Our discussion ended after 10 minutes since he didn’t ask any further questions, and I had run out of things to ask as well. He mentioned he has 4 other candidates to evaluate and will choose the best fit.

Is this how team matching interviews typically go? Should it be such a one-sided conversation with only a brief introduction? I’m looking for tips that is not available on Google. Today’s discussion felt a bit confusing, and if I get another team matching round, any advice on how to handle it better would be appreciated.
