Round 1 : Machine coding round
LLD of survey management service with proper working code in java (in local intellij, had to run few manual test cases as well)
Your organization has started a new tech blog with interesting tech stories and you’re responsible for
designing and implementing an in-memory search engine, supporting the search functionality on the blog content.
Requirements:
It should be possible to create a category in the search engine.
It should be possible to insert and delete documents in a given category.
It should be possible to search through documents for a search pattern in a given category. (Normal,FRequencyBased)
It should be possible to order the search results(Created,Updates)
Round 2 : High Level System design round
Build a subscriptions platform on top of Razorpay payment system. The following flow depicts a payment interaction involving a credit card transaction with Cure fit
- Customer logs onto Cure fit App to purchase a meal
- Curefit confirms the meal selection and redirects to Razorpay for collecting money.
- User enters the credit card details on Razorpay payment page
- Razorpay communicates with the Bank, 2FA authentication happens.
- Razorpay sends a response back to curefit, the user then gets a confirmation message from CureFit.
Curefit wants to roll out a subscription product where users select a plan (weekly, monthly, etc).Each plan has a different pricing. Razorpay has to build a subscription product which enables Curefit to collect money on a recurring basis. For example, If a user selects “Veg meal lunch daily” as a monthly plan for 1 year, he will be charged at the beginning of every month (Jan 1, Feb 1, March 1) till the ending date. Your ask is to build the Subscription product on top of the Payment system.
Round 3 : Hiring Managerial round
In the Hiring manager round he deep dived into my current project brainstorming the existing system asked about the flaws inside it and how would I like to design it today if I were to.
2nd half of the intereview was mostly behavioural questions.
