Position: SSE\n\nI had my phone screen with Amazon recently.\n40 minutes of chit chat / current work / behaviour - Tell me a complex problem you have solved - It was ok, nothing great,\n20 mins Coding - https://leetcode.com/problems/search-in-rotated-sorted-array/\n5-10 mins for my questions. Interviewer was nice and stayed after 60 mins to answer my questions.\nSuggested 2 approaches for coding question and implemented one. I submitted same code in leetcode after interveiw and it worked as it is.  I missed to ask if array is sorted asc/desc. I assumed it is asc.\n\nRejected after 2 days.\nLittle frustated with result as I wasted 1 day going through Amazon LP instead of focusing on upcoming FB onsite.\nLooking at it differently, I am thankful that they rejected me after phone screen other wise I may have wasted more days peparing for onsite LP :)
