Hi,
Last week, I had a technical screening call with Bloomberg for a role in London, and it went well! I've now been invited for the on-site interview, which includes a system design round, and I’m feeling quite unprepared for this part. My current role focuses on computer graphics, so I don’t have experience with system design, and honestly, I’m worried I’ll completely bomb that round.
This opportunity means a lot to me. I’m currently stuck in a toxic job with no growth, so I really want to give this my best shot. I asked for a month to prep because I know I need the time to catch up.
So far, I’ve started watching videos on the "Jordan Has No Life" YouTube channel, and I have both of Alex Xu’s books. I read the first one a while back but definitely need to go through it again.
The recruiter mentioned that the system design question might involve something related to an Order Book. I’m not sure what that means or how to approach it.
If anyone has tips on preparing, especially if you’ve been through Bloomberg’s process recently, I’d really appreciate it. I’m open to any advice, resources, strategies, or just general encouragement!
Thanks in advance for your help!
