Location: Bangalore\nExperience: 2 year\nResult: Reject\n\nI was contacted by a recruiter in around Jan 2020 and was asked to brush up the DSA and get back to him. Once prepared, i got it scheduled. Recruiter informed that I have to solve 2 Leetcode medium in 40 mins.(20 mins. each). The questions were similar to followings.\n* https://leetcode.com/problems/lowest-common-ancestor-of-a-binary-tree/\n* https://leetcode.com/problems/lru-cache/\n\nout of these 2 I solved first question perfectly and gave rough idea about the second one.\n\nAfter 2 days i got a call from recruiter that i was border-line fail. reasons were\n* The solution to fist question was not optimal.\n* Slow coding.\n\nSelf-assessment \n* over-explained the first solution.\n* some minor mistakes which I usually don\'t make(without pressure).\n* Lack of practice to write code in Google docs.\n\nThe interviewer was running the code in background(so you can not make even small mistake) and was telling me that it is not working for some cases(that\'s all, no pointers). Running a code in background disturbed me a bit, I mean in 20 mins. they expect a code written in Google docs to be perfect with optimal solution. But then it is google, right?\n\nSo all in all it was good experience.
