How to get Interviews ?

This is long post please bear with me, and I be happy for any input, suggestion and advice.

I have been practising for around 3-4 months now, have solved a lot of questions on LeetCode and *** (~500) and the problem I keep facing is that I don't get interviews, like literally ZERO.
I have been applying (before corona) to multiple companies on their application portal, with no luck. Most of the times my application just sits there, not even rejected. For eg. I applied to Cisco in December 2019 and it is still processing.

I have created projects on my own but problem still lies (I think) either the resume doesn't look too good or something else.

Here is a list of projects -

Internship Project -
During my internship, I created a map application based on (****) GIS platform that could be used in case of any natural calamities by people to get to the nearby hospital, government building, etc. (Using Java SDK)
(GIS - Geographic Information System)

Projects -

  • Search Algorithm Used by Browsers and Databases
In this project,I implemented search using an inverted index data structure and linked list along with boyer Moore and Rabin Karp algorithm.

  • Social Networking Website
This project was developed as part of my Internet and web programming course. It consisted of unified feed which could be seen by each user and at the same time user to view other user-profiles and know their interests, details, etc

  • Number Plate Recognition
Used the bounding box method for segmentation and then template matching for identification of number plates. The detection rate was 80% of the number of plates tested.

Apart from this I will graduate this May from a Tier2 college in India with bachelors in Computer Science and have also participated in club activities which were not related to computer science, but showcases my leadership qualities.

What is it that I am missing ? And what is your opinion of my projects considering if I apply to big tech companies?

While we are on the topic, is there something you would suggest me to do in terms of learning X or Y technologies to build a project which will help me.

And thanks a lot for taking the time to read my problem, it means a lot even if you read the post too.

Update: I have received an SDE offer at great start-up and I am enjoying my job. Please do add in any pointerthat might help someone else facing the same situation
