I interviewed for E5 position. The process consists of phone screen, team matching and onsite.

1. Phone screen.

I got easy-medium questions from LC tagged.

2. Team match.

I was talking to 2 teams. The first one did not want me despite me working on exactly same technologies and tools that they were working on. That was weird, but I got matched with another team.

2. Onsite. It consisted of 4 rounds.

  1. Describe your experience and what projects you were working on. It felt like the interviewer was drilling into every single detail of my project and overall it was not a plesant experience.

  2. Coding. LC tagged medium question

  3. Systems design. Standard systems design question. The interviewer was questioning every single step of my design, so I ended up spending lot of time on requirement gathering and not on the actual design and drawing diagrams.

  4. Behavioral. I was asked random questions like how did you help to improve diversity in your current company and etc.I guess It would be beneficial to prepare some random stories how you helped LGBT+ or other minority people in your workplace.
