Hello Everyone ,
I have recently gone through the akami technologies interview for the software engineer role with experience of 2 years. There are total of 5 rounds including discussion round. Note They wont give any clarity on what is the round all about, you will be having no clarity until the interviewer start asking questions about that topic. The order below may not be same and no matter how you performed from 2 to 5 all the four rounds will be scheduled for you from here it might change for you. All rounds are about 45 mins.

Rounds (45 MINS) :

  1. Discussion round with manager of team
  2. Round about resume and technical.
  3. DSA two questions.
  4. OS
  5. Networking & Linux
  6. Behaviour round if you qualify all above rounds.

Experience in each round in detail:

1. Discussion Round: (Positive Response)
	This round is really positive where i discussed with the manager of the team about the role and what all the resposibilities. I was asked about the things i worked its like friendly disucssion with mix of what i have worked on and what are my interests.
	
2. Technical 1: (Neutral Response)
	This round is where the interviewer went through out my resume and asked every thing about the things and about me. What are the challanges i have faced if any in my expericence till here its positive. It went to basics and i didnt remembered the practical way to write clouser function i was asked to implement a multiplier function. Also asked about simple DSA questions.
	
3. DSA Two questions: 
	This round i got two questions.
		Q1: I got two inputs one is Linked List and the other one is String give code if you write complete code then it would be better. I gave a complete approach and optimized solution.
		Q2. Coin change problem, here also i gave optimized solution.
4. OS : 
	Here the interviewer gave a question i choose c++ , he asked me a question of mutex and asked me to write the code complete code and also i was asked to write some test cases in very simple way he want to understand whether i know how to write a test case or not.
5. Networking & Linux: 
	Here the interview asked from basic like when we enter a website name and press enter what is going to happen what is the protocol and deeply about that. Next he started linux commands where he asked me what is top, command for getting to know Ip adress or bluetooth adress and asked me what does that command give. Also asked about MTU, what is MTU and if a packet size crosses MTU what is going to happen and all. I didnt even know what is going to asked before so went through roughly about all topics so i couldnt answer all questions.

So finally after all these rounds i got the experience of how the questions will be asked and what we need to tell there. I couldnt clear since i always have vast syllabus no clarity on what is the round about.

Note: This is my first post about interview experience, Let me know what i could write to make it better (suggestions to make this post better). Writing since i couldnt find much about this company when i tried to find.
