Status: ~3 YOEs as SDE\n\nInterview date in June 2022- Virtual onsite\n\nI\'ll skip directly to the onsite\nOnsite (3 rounds): ... \n1 Coding for 1 hour\n1 System design\n1 Behvioral and culture fit\n\nThe coding interview, I was expecting a graph problem as it\'s famous in booking.com but I recieved some "hard" LeetCode problem of hash map something similar to "Integer to words" the 1 hr passed while I was writing pseudo code and didn\'t get to write the actual code, I stumbled through the question and the examples, I was very nervous at that round but I was driven mainly by their hints. I lost tracking of time\n\nThe system desgin was much better and I was asked to design a feature in booking.com and the discuission was on a junior level without much complexities, service,db, cron job, scaling by sharding data base, using cache ..etc nothing sophisticated\n\nThe behvioral was the normal one as any other interview with fousing on the A/B testing culture of Booking.com\n\nI recievd the response 1 hr after the loop, I failed the coding interview but succeded the 2 other interviews, Overall I was rejected\n\nI\'m a little bit frustrated but I wanted to share my expereince as It might help anyone preparing for their interview.\n\nDO NOT FOCUS on graphs only :D
