Hi Everyone , recently i had a chance to appear for amazon SDE 2 interview process. The interview process was of total 4 rounds (including bar riaser) .

First round : Coding round
It was the coding round. The Question asked was almost similar to meeting rooms. I was pretty nervous as it was my first interview with one of dream company . Even though i have writtent the code, messed it up while explaining.

Second Round : LLD
Asked to design a cache system.

Third round : HLD
Asked to design a customer conversion funnel system. For example a customer browses on amazon app and leaves the application in midway for various reason. Need to design a system, which will enables to understand why he left and make him to continue from where left off. Post designing the sytem asked to implement the same for any payment system like amazon pay.

Post completing the 3 rounds of interview said there would be bar raiser round. as coding round was messed up.

Bar raiser Round :
Started on simple note, introduction and various project experience etc . then finally into coding round

1. given a string which consists of (,) characters, get the longest substring which is valid . valid cases are (),(()).. etc so on.
2. Given a city with normal, infected and vaccinated person. Need to tell how many days would it take for the city to get infected completly. Given constraint are vaccinated person will not get infected until 'x' number of days which is also given.

have written the code using stack and bfs for 1st and 2nd respectivley. But was unable to explain it to the interviewer in a proper way.

Recruiter feedback : HLD and LLD round was good, but bit struggling on coding round so not going ahead.

Even though i have solved lots of LC problems ,Being introvert , lack of self-confidence in case of written code are the major factor for getting rejected in the interview, but neverthless it gave me the confidence and exact areas where i was lacking etc .
