Hi, I was asked this question recently in a HLD round for OCI for IC2 position. I interviewed in March 2022 and have roughly around 1.5 years of experience.

Design an online book reader where a user can read first 15 pages of any book for free and later on we will charge them to read the rest of the book, something similar to Google Books.
I don't think I did well in this round as the interviewer was expecting much more than what I had offered. I drew basic servcies which will be required along with APIs and DB Schema. I was pretty nervous throughout the interview as this was my first ever design round.

Can anyone share their thoguht process for this problem?
