I applied for several SDE positions at Workday, and got a call from recruiter more than a month later. This is for the Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning position.

First phone screen was done on Hackerrank, I got 2 questions:

1. 1290. Convert Binary Number in a Linked List to Integer
2. Similar to Determine minimum numbers of moves required to sort the array in ascending order. -> I cannot find the LC number for this

I solved both and got scheduled for second phone screen. This time is more like a Low Level Design:
Design a pipeline to take in an ML model, parameters, input and return predictions.
I started by drawing some flow diagarams on the draw tool and then started coding the classes/method signatures, but it seemed like I spent too much time on diagram and couldn't finish the coding part, but I feel I got more than 75% of the way.
The interviewer was nice and guided me along the way.

I got rejection a few days later.
But overwall, the process was smooth and they accomodated my working schedule.
