I had a phone interview with a bloomberg recruiter for a new grad position last week.

Coding portion, was given a question, an old bloomberg question from 2019 (link below).

I could not solve it as i had no prior encounters with such questions also i was only able to write some psuedocode to solve it.

What I learnt:-

• You cannot master all the questions, there will always be that one question that will give you headache. Sometimes you just have to wave the white flag.
• I should have looked into questions from before 2020 (I only looked in to questions from 2020 to 2021).
