Hey Community,

I had a phone screen coming up for the accessibility team at Apple. It was a coding phone interview. It was an hour long interview with 1 easy to medium level question.

Position level : ICT3
Update : Rejected, other candidate had closer experience in the field.

Interview Scene

  1. Phone screen : an easy string problem
  2. Take home assignment : an app to base code with some basic functionalities
  3. Final Interviews : design aspect of the app, feature enhancements and behavioural rounds.

The whole experience was good, was expecting a positive reply but I guess the team liked the other candidate more. A bit upset, but nothing to worry on the company side of the interviews.

  • Be well prepared cus Apple doesn't spare on technicalities.
  • Write well documented code and try to gather all the requirements beforehand.
  • Don't jump to answers. Take your time, walk through edge cases and then start coding.

All the best to all the readers reading this for their upcoming interviews!
