Hi,
Question to you all who've interviewed with Goldman Sachs in the past; approximately how long did it take for you all to get word on whether or not you were progressing to the Super Day?
This is for Early Career Backend Engineering at Goldman Sachs, location being NYC/NJ-City. Reason I ask was my interview was late last week I believe it went well had a brain fart first question but got a solution, was given a chance to answer question 2 which I slayed (was at the 12 minutes left mark and presented the question was able to sketch out a solution very quickly, only had time for one pre-set test. case). Had an extra 10 minutes to discuss questions about the job/interviewer etc...all in all I thought it went well.
As for the questions, I would have to say LC-Easy for both though there are grounds for the second being medium (involved a HashMap). If you practice GS LC tagged you will be more than adequately prepared for the coder-pad. The OA was harder imo. The only reason why question 1 took longer for me was I hadn't brushed up on mathematic coding trick questions haha! But yea it was straightforward and easy.
Cheers and Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I was notificed of superday approximately 15 business days after my CoderPad round with positive feedback; I only have a week to prep for superday :o
good luck to everyone
