I have a LinkedIn onsite interview coming in couple of weeks and one of the rounds is Real World App – Add a feature (2 hours). If you had this round can you tell me more about it?

Real World App – Add a feature (2 hours):
The purpose of this module is to test your ability to produce code while working in a production environment. This also focuses on your ability to work with and add features to an existing mature code base. In this we are looking for comfort in a development environment, understanding of testing procedures, and ability to solve problems inside of the scope of real applications.

You can browse the repository, select whichever language/framework version of the real-world app you’re most comfortable with. It’s best if you have downloaded that version and gotten it up and running on your machine before the interview (and review the architecture a bit so you understand how it works).
