Role: Software Engineer

The call started with an introduction, then discussion about a project you worked on (your contribution, what did you learn, what improvements can be made, why did you select a particular technology to work with, etc.) and then into a quiz about sorting.

Given an ASCII list of 100GB size, 15 GB RAM and 10 TB (memory? i don't remember), how would you sort the list?
My Answer: the file is too big to process all at once so we break it down into smaller chunks and use merge sort. Then I was asked about the time and space complexity of my solution.
