Regarding Offcampus placements

Hello everyone. I am a student graduating this year from an Old IIT from a non-circuital branch. I believe that I am good at programming (DS and algorithms) which I learnt on my own. Unfortunately, I got placed at a service based company during campus placements (I gave interviews for Software profiles but wasn't getting the final shortlist).
I have covered almost everything from the basic DSA to most topics of Competitive programming (for coverage, like FFT, Bitmasking, DP with Bitmasking etc.) and I love solving problems. I can discuss and explain the solutions in an interview confidently. I am also doing a course on Fullstack Web Dev and I am enjoying the course.
I wanted to know, how difficult will it be for me to make a switch (as in getting the Interview calls and getting selected) as I am starting my preparation, and hope to apply off-campus after almost an year. Should I learn System Design? What else should I learn? I do have projects, but I'd request you to suggest me anyways. I love learning and making things.
Also, I really overthink about my situation like I am in a service based company right now, will they take it as a negative and the "diversity hiring". I sometimes feel depressed that after all the hardwork I've done, I got stuck at a service based company and there are these girls who only know Front-end development getting offers from FAANG companies.
PS - Don't bash me for my views against diversity hiring. It's a good measure but setting lower bar for girls won't help.
