UPDATE: Received call today from recruiter that I have cleared all the rounds and FB will release an offer soon. It took almost 9 days since the day I gave my interview to the day they confirm my selection.

Hi everyone,

Last week I gave my FB onsite interview for the E5 position. My recruiter got back to me saying that my packet was approved by the local hiring committee and it is passed on to the Global hiring committee which will take place next week and post that she will get back to me.

I have the following doubts, can anyone help me here.

1. What the role of the global hiring committee? Do they decide on the decision or just package?
2. What the rejection rate by the global hiring committee?

P.S. I did ask these 2 questions to my recruiter but she hadn't reply to me for the last 3 days & the silence is killing me :( Also, I wanted to post this question in the General Discussion channel but there we don't have the option to post it as anonymous.
