Rounds: 1 coding Assessment + 4 Onsite interviews

I was contacted by a recruiter and he asked me to share my CV. After few days, I was shared a link for coding assessment.

Coding Assessment(8th March) - There were 2 coding questions and 2 descriptive questions to explain the approach for the same. The questions were easy-medium. One problem was robot moving in a grid and another was an array problem.

Round 1(3rd April)- This round was with Software Developer. There were 2 medium LC from topics-graph and tree. I gave the optimised solutions. And some discussion on OOPS concepts.

Round 2(3rd April)- This round was with Senior Software Developer. This round has 3 questions, 2 coding questions, 1 behavioural question with folllow-up. The question were medium-hard LC. Topics were Linked list and tree.

Round 3(9th April)- This round was with Senior Software Developer. It had around 20 mins discussion on my past experience(behavioural and LP), followed by 2 medium coding questions. One was modification of node reversal in Linkedlist and another one was a tree traversal problem.

Round 4(12th April)- This round was with Software Development Manager. We had a discussion on my past experience about my responsibilties and then 1 coding question. The question was of array, I gave a solutionO(n^2) and later optimised it to O(n logn).

After 2 days, I got the call from recruiter extending the offer.

  1. What did you do that wasn't your responsibility and why did you feel it was important?
  2. Tell me about a time when you failed to deliver at time.
  3. What do you think your team says about you?
  4. Tell me about a time when you got a constructive feedback, how did you react and improve.
  5. How do you manage when you have to work outside your comfort area?
