I made a post a while back about this interview and being waitlisted, and I wanted to share for anyone on the waitlist still that you can switch to Fall and almost certainly get an offer. I also wanted to fill out some of my experiences in greater detail.
I applied on 8/3/2020, which is frusterating since when I originally applied there would be no filled slots.
Round 1: 7 debugging questions - Pretty straightforward questions, basically can you program and understand common bugs.
Round 2: LP and OA questions -Not too bad, there seems to be a list of these somewhere on Blind to practice. For leadership principles, tell them answers that you think fall in line with their leadership principles.
Round 3: Workstyles Assessment - Same thing as Round 2, answer these like an Amazonian would.
Final: Course Schedule II - Oh boy, I really thought I screwed this up. I solved it in an incredibly inefficient way to begin, that is, using a Hash Map, but I got a quasi working solution, and then, at the end, I told the interviewer I should've used a graph. The interviewer said I had really good behavioral answers, which I guess it what made the difference for me. I talked about my experiences working on open source projects, and how they made me write better and better code and hold myself to high standards.
Received an email 3 days [March 9th] later saying they were inclined to hire, but they don't have open slots
Moved to another job on April 5th
Received an offer April 6th.
I am elated and so excited to be working at Amazon.
