Hey Everyone,\n\nJust got an offer, crazy story.\n\n**Timeline**: applied through referral back in September\n\n**OA1**: Debugging assessment I got 7/7.\n**OA2**: Number of Islands and other generic DP. Completely fudged this, like 80% of test cases on Number of Islands and only template code for Second.\n**OA3**: workplace simulation - Leadership principles.\n\nOnce I completed all the assesments, I got Rejected! Yes, you read that right. Thought it was a done deal after the email\n\nEarly February got an email to schedule 3 interviews for 45mins each. Super surprise\n\nMemorized LP and went over behavioral from my resume.\n\n**Preface**: I forgot all the LP questions asked lol. I didn\'t really prepare for them other than reviewing my resume and watching Dan Croiter\n\n**Round 1:** \nOOP, Deck of Cards\n- went terrible, my OOP sucks, took the whole time and didn\'t get to follow-ups\n\n**Round 2:** https://leetcode.com/problems/rectangle-overlap/\n- got it but my code was hella ugly\n- follow ups on lots of rectangles with overlap\n- finished with 10 min to spare for those follow-ups\n\n**Round 3:** https://leetcode.com/problems/longest-consecutive-sequence/solution/\n- I cried when I saw this, but talked out loud and eventually got a solution. Really surprised I was able to find the optimal answer. Finished this one with 20 mintues to spare. Key takeaways: talk outloud \n\nJob description has changed to, "Moved to another Job", 4 working days after my interview, received offer letter a day after the status changed.
