Hello Leetcoders,
I hope everything is going well with all of you. Currently, I'm preparing for my system design interview at Bloomberg LP London for a new grad position and I got some insights from some people that I don't know personally and I wanna validate if these insights are right or wrong
First Insight from some software engineers at the company
Don't study high-level concepts for system design interviews, the interview will similar to a friendly chat about your thoughts for building part of the system so, you don't need to study load balancer, Pub/Sub, Client Server, peer to peer, leader election, Availability&Latency ...etc.
this is my opinion about this response :
if this is true what should I say when I get such a question !!!
Second Insight from someone on discord group who had the previous experience at Bloomberg but he didn't pass
this person said " you need to study all the high-level concepts MicroServcies, Load balancer, Pub/Sub, Client Server, peer to peer, leader election, Availability&Latency ...etc "
My opinion: I don't know I'm really confused
Conclusion: if you have any piece of advice you are welcome to put it down in the comment section
