Status: New grad, BS CS
Position: SDE Intern at Amazon
Location: Seattle, WA
Date: November - December 2020

Received OA 2 weeks after applying. Did not apply with a reference.

The usual 3 OA:

• First was debugging
• Second was 2 medium/hard coding questions
• Third was Workplace Assessment

After 2 weeks got invited to do virtual in-person round (45 minutes).

• Asked CS theory questions (explain time complexity, CPU architecture, etc.)
• Coding question similar to #48 Rotate an Image

About 2 weeks after the final round I received the rejection email.

The Amazon final round 100% depends on who your interviewer is. I got an Engineer from one of the toughest teams and he ripped me apart. I have friends who've interviewed with Engineers who've been much nicer/easier. Good luck!
