I cannot post the exact questions due to NDA. Sorry for that!

Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and scheduled an online HackerRank assessment.
Simple questions in OA with 3 coding and 1 SQL problem.
Coding Ques - 2 Easy and 1 Med Level LC Question. All related to Strings.

Made through the OA and was called for Onsite Interview.

4 Rounds.

Round 1) Coding and general Testing concepts - Easy LC question related to Strings.
Round 2) Time and Space complexity discussion for a Medium LC question. Related to Array of strings and Maps.
Round 3) Technical Interview with AWS questions.
Round 4) 50% Managerial and 50% Technical - General Behavior Questions and Medium Level LC Question regarding substrings.

I think they were impressed with how I coded working solutions and tried to optimize in all the rounds.

NOTE - Please do not forget to include negative/error checking conditions in your code. Pretty Imp because they asked a lot of questions regarding this.

Update as on 1/9/21 - Recruiter ghosted me and did not reply back to my e-mails and no updates on the portal. Thankfully I received a couple of other offers and would be joining one of them.

I know people are busy but it hardly takes a minute to respond to an e-mail especially after I completed OA + Phone + Onsite. Very bad experience and probably will not be applying again to VMware in the near future.
