  • 75 Minute, 5 Questions Hackerrank (Easy/ Low Medium)
  • 20 Minute Phone Screen with Recruiter
  • 15 Minute Phone Interview with Hiring Manager (called me 3 hours after scheduled time)
  • Conclusion: (1/5) very unprofessional

  • 30 Minute Phone Screen with Hiring Manager
  • Take Home Project (~5 hours) - wasn't worth the time so did not do
  • Conclusion: (3/5)
  1. C3.ai (LOL)
  • 25 Minute Phone Screen with Recruiter
  • 3 Medium Hackerranks
  • 60 Minnute Tech Interview (1 Easy)
  • Conclusion: (0/5): the 60 minute tech interview was with a current student who has been working at c3.ai for about 3 months. Interviewer told me about 1/3 of the workforce quit as c3.ai did not let people work remotely and expected everyone to work in the office one month after the pandemic hit. I would strongly avoid this company

Mid October

  • I've applied to them the last 3 years and they've all been unsuccessful;
  • first time during school, passed the hackerrank (hard) and was rejected after phone screen with recruiter
  • second time after school, passed the hackerrank (hard) and was rejected again after phone screen with recruiter
  • third time (this time), rejected after intiial phone screen with recruiter

Late October

  • 3 Hour Virtual Onsites
  1. Amazon (Offer, did not accept)
  • 15 Minute Phone Screen with Recruiter

  • Virtual Onsites (4 Medium/Low Hards + 1 System Design)

Early November

  1. Addepar (rejected)
  • 30 Minute Phone Interview with hiring manager
  • 30 minute phone screen with recruiter
  • 60 minute tech interview (weird format and high Medium/Low Hard)
  • Conclusion: (4/5): This was one of the companies I actually wanted to work for
  1. Citadel (withdrew)

  • 20 Minute Phone Interview with hiring manager
  • Take Home Project (wtf - withdrew after that)
    Conclusion: project was react specific and I estimated it would've took about 5-8 hours
