Recruiter contacted me of an opening for SDE3 and scheduled a Phone Screen. I thought the phone screen went well as I was able to solve the question and a follow up on it. My code was not clean or refactored as I thought of doing it after I solve the problem and didn;t get time to clean it in 60 mins interview after solving the question.
A week later received a rejection form recruiter saying that I did well overall but need a higher bar on Problem Solving and Coding skills. Devastated a month of prep gone waste...:(

Can anyone here please share their views & experiences on how to improve them in a month to 3 months time please. I know that just brute solving LC problems do not help much. But not sure how to get better at writing clean, efficient code from Get go. Any advice would be appreciated.
