**Status**: 8 years Experience\n**Position**: M.S C.S student\n**Location**: N/A\n\n**Phone screen (1 hour)**:\nLeetcode Medium DFS problem. Solved it and was moved to Virtual Onsite\n\nOnsite (4 rounds 1 hour each):\n\n**Round 1 [System design]**:\nStraight foward system design that is present on G.T.S.D and YT videos\n\n**Round 2 [System design]**:\nCompletely new question, even the interviewer said he was asking it for the first time.\n\n**Round 3 [Laptop test]**:\nSurprisingly  simple laptop test, build a basic system with two methods. Did not include test cases ( not sure if its a plus point)\n\n**Round 4 [Manager]**:\nPast work experience, projects worked on, team questions, etc.\n\nGot a reject two weeks after the Virtual onsite, had my hopes high thinking that since they hadn\'t got back for two weeks must be a good thing else would have rejected me earlier itself  - turns out they waited two weeks to reject me.\n\nLyft is one of the easier FAANG like firms to get through becase their interview process is simpler and straight forward.
