I was approached by a recruiter from Amazon Recruitment Team, who shortlisted my profile through one of the hiring platform. The recruiter asked me to confirm my candidature by replying with my resume. After confirmation, the recruiter sent me a link to appear for an online assessment within a 1 week timeframe.

Round 1 (Online Test)
Consisted of two easy-medium LC questions to be completed within 90 minutes. After the coding questions, there is a 15-minute assessment to explain your approach and time complexity for each of the questions
One question was based on strings and the other was on BST.

After clearing this round, the recruiter scheduled Virtual On-site Interview (Interviews over video conference)

Round 2 (Problem Solving)
Interviewer asked me about my current experience and then immediately moved on to coding questions.
I was asked two hard LC questions, directly copy-pasted from LC. I was expected to explain the approach first and then code the same on an online editor, visible to the recruiter simultaneously (get into the habit of coding in notepad)
Questions - Frog Jump & Sliding Puzzle

Round 3 (Problem Solving + LP)
This round was similar to previous round. The interviewer asked me two easy-medium programming questions again from LC. One of which was Number of Islands
I was then asked few questions on Leadership Principles.

Round 4 (System Design)
In this round the interviewer again asked a bit about my experience and then jumped right into the design question. I was asked to design a Messenger Service. The designing part is done over a digital product design platform, which is simultaneouly visible to the interviewer.

After 2 days, the recruiter contacted me and informed me that the interviewers were happy with my coding skills but they feel that I need to work on my system design concepts. Hence, they would not like to proceed with my candidature for the position.

This was the end of my interview experience with Amazon.
I hope this helps you to prepare better and nail your interview.
