Hiring Position Details\nPosition: E5 SWE\nLocation: Menlo Park\n\nInterview Process\nFour 45-minute interviews conducted over BlueJeans, CoderPad, and Google Drawings. The following is not listed in any particular order (i.e not chronological).\n\n\nCoding round 1: \n- leetcode medium problem (20 min)\n- leetcode hard (20 min)\nAnswered all question, provided optimal solution with no hints.\n\nDesign interview 1:\n- Fb\'s favorite question about instagram design. Solved within given time, asked and answered questions. Did leave anything on table. \n\nCoding 2:\n- leetcode medium, solved within 30 mins with minimal hints. \n- leetcode hard, was able to propose non-optimal but working solution\n\nnote here: Interviewer was moving slowly and asked me to run again and again through working solution since he didn\'t understand code. Time spent for explanation was missed for solving second problem in time and may caused me an offer.\n\nBehavioural + coding:\n- 20 min, standard behavioural questions. \n- leetcode medium, coded optimal solution\n\nCoding 3:\n- leetcode medium with focus on corner cases, solved and found all cases (with one hint)\n- leetcode medium, solved with optimal solution no hints.\n\nProbably had best interview results from my own point, very impressed by getting reject from FB today. Unfortunately, they didn\'t provide any feedback. \n\nHave only two assumptions: either one of my coding was expected to finish two hard at the same time or behavioral was with any red flags. My own takeaway rush interview and try to get solution asap, so you will have time for further questions\n\nResult\nReject\n\nUPD. After getting reject from other well-known company was able to receive feedback confirming that behavioural was not perfect and I have lack of proven experience of leading projects. Probably same happened with FB.
