Hi All,

I had 5 rounds in my onsite interview. Here's some insight:

Round 1:
LP - 35 mins
Coding for next 25 mins - List of cities was given and from each city you can visit multiple other cities and there is a cost associated with visiting. Find the order in which you can visit all the citites and with the minimum cost. I knew this is some famous question but then wasn't able to solve it properly. Just wrote some BFS code assuming any startNode. But I suppose this is Travelling Salesman Problem (correct me if I am wrong).

Round 2: I seriously don't know what happened here. The interviewer was lacking basic communication skills. He was blunt as well. And generally if you go in some wrong direction - interviewers stop you but he didn't give any hints nor stopped me.
35 mins - LP
Coding - Given 2 large files say file1, file2 consisting of strings of customerid - find the unique customers present in those files. Basically unique words (ex. customer1, customer 3, customer5 and so on)!
My approach - Solved using HashSet but interviewer told it won't work as input is very large and Set would exceed Memory limit. I told maybe something like divide and conquer but wasn't able to come up with the actual solution.

Round 3 - Probably Bar raisers - All LP Questions (Trust me they will go on infinite depth - so prepare accordingly)

Round 4 - 30-35 mins - LP
Coding - Similar to Design Linux File System question but the File Interface was changed. They asked me to implement the find command which will find/list all the files in that directory.

Round 5 - System Design - Dropbox. The interviewer wasnt that interested. Didnt ask anything specific. I kept on saying things randomly. Interview hardly lasted 45 mins.

My experience - Have done like top 150+ Leetcode questions. Did Top 50 Amazon questions as well but it seems questions asked to me were not in that range :( Feeling sad about that ! Recruiter said u can apply for other roles but might have to wait for 12-18 months, I am not sure if cool off period is seriously 1 - 1.5 years! Anyway, will have to start my prep again! :(

Good luck !
