Hi everyone,
Recently got interviewed at LinkedIn for Software Engg. Infrastructure role.
YOE - 3.6 years (Backend engineer, Java, Spring boot)
This round consisted of question around one of the complex project I have worked on, then questions on computer fundamentals mostly around OS.
2 DSA questions around leetcode medium, based on linked list and matrix traversal
2 coding questions, one being order of leaves falling from tree, could be found in other posts, and the other one seems like design one, how you search strings in a file
System Design round focused on metric collection system.
HM Round - what complex project you have worked, what improvement do you want in your current team, how do you stay updated with current tech, how have you helped your teammates outside work, and why do you want to join, etc.
I got a rejection mail saying, they found another candidate with more experience and thus won't be moving forward with me. Is it the case for others reading this post, who got rejected at LinkedIn ?
I want to know if they found more suitable than me, although I had passed the test as well or they just have a template mail that says so?
Also, I feel I am a bit weak on answering hiring manager round questions.
Could someone help me with how to prepare for such questions ?
Also what would your probable answer to such questions ?
