First time with FAANG. I applied for Amazoz with 6+ YOE.
Passed the OA in June Mid .The onsite interview happened in July mid.

4 months hard work with leetcode, system designs and LP.
4 months LC record is 75 easy/55 medium/25 hard.

Round 1 : LP followed by Coding question Non LC. I thought question was very simple and also included all the test cases. It looks like interviewer wants to check only coding approach with all possible test cases.

Round 2: LP followed by System Design. Was asked to design something which is already in Amazon and the person interviewing was the Project Lead of this system. He was more focused on database tables designs and how to update the values. Most of the questions and time spent on database design. No question/discussion about cache/CDN/Latency/Traffic.

Round 3 : Non LC followed by LP. This round was pretty good as well. He didnt give me any example just 2 sentences for the problem. I asked lots of questions for clarifications and details but most of the time response was like it is upto you or what you want to choose. Every other 5 minutes he was changing scenario/cases and reuirements. He wants to test the approach only with different scenarios. Had lots of discussion for different possibles data structures.

Round 4: LP followed by Coding round. It was LC hard problem. I solved that before during my practice so able to provide solution with all explanations and test cases. Interviewer looked happy with the solution.

Overall i was satisfied after the interviews.

Result: After a week got an email from another recruiter that based on my interview i am rejected.

didn't get any idea what went wrong. Recruiter didn't provide any other detail due to company policy. Any hint or suggestions??
