My background:
Bachelors degree in CS from an average school
YOE: 7 month at shitty contracting agency

I was really struggling with getting interviews as I was not from a Ivy legue school and had 0 experience. I could not get an interview for a "real" company for over a HALF A YEAR! I think I have applied to more that 800 jobs and revised my resume 34 times and had 0 companies respond! A 3 weeks before I actually got an interview, I just started spamming recruiters on linkedin and one from Amazon responded. I knew all I needed was 1 shot!

Regarding interview questions:

1. A variation on Serialize/diserialize binary tree
2. An open ended question to which implementing LRU cache was a good solution
3. A typical "find shortest distance in the matrix" question. (Just use BFS)
4. how would you design image sharing system
5. Behavioral

The thing that cought me offguard was some of the leadership princials questions. Prepare these well!
