First got contacted by Bloomberg in early May. Took the phone screen in early June, and then the onsite early July. Don't feel comfortable saying the questions, but if you look through Glassdoor and Leetcode, you'll find all the problems I was asked
All the technical interviews were the same format. Starts off with behavioral questions like what are you looking for in your next job, or tell me about something on your resume. Then go through some code challenges. It's not so important that you get the most optimal solution. In my phone interview, I didn't even get to code the second problem. I don't think Bloomberg interviewers particularly care about you instantly knowing the solution. They're more interested in your approach, as well as how well you can explain it. Also if they like you as a human being.
The HR interview was just a standard behavioral. They're interested in seeing if Bloomberg is a good match for you and if you're a good match for Bloomberg.
The manager interview was the hardest. It was a system design question. Honestly had no idea, but I talked through the problem, explaining what I knew, what I didn't know and factors to consider. It's meant to be collaborative, so the manager will help you out. Didn't think I was going to get the offer because of this interview.
Took one day to hear back after the phone screen. Took six days to hear back after the onsite
