System Design

Design a system to sync availability of hotels which are listed across multiple sites like Booking, Airbnb, Agoda, Expedia etc. We need to ensure we do not book a hotel room when it's already sold out.

Culture Fit

Did not have the best experience in this round. I was grilled a lot. It felt like the interviewer disregarded a lot of my actual experiences and wanted to hear something specific. It was also hard to get them to understand my project, and they thought I had not solved the problem statement of the project at all. It took 4 tries of explanation to finally convince them.

I was sure I was going to be rejected after the last round but luckily ended up getting selected.
