Status: MS CS grad, (4 years of prior work experience) \nPosition: SDET 2 at Amazon\nLocation: Seattle, WA\nDate: July, 2020\n\nNote that SDET interviews at Amazon and Google are same as SDE interviews (i.e. hiring bar is the same making it possible to switch between roles)\n\nOnline Assessment - From Amazon\'s list of Online Assessment questions\n\nOnsite rounds: All of 1 hour each\nRound 1 - Behavioral questions based on Leadership Principles (LP), few testing process related questions. \nRound 2 - Bar Raiser - System Design of a Notification System\nRound 3, Round 4, Round 5 - Coding rounds with around first 30 minutes for LP questions. Questions were Leetcode Hard, Medium and Easy respectively. \n\nOverall, stressful but a good experience. Interviewers were helpful and encouraging. \nResult - Selected for SDET 1 (I think partly because of my lack of experience working on large projects. Also, System design round was okay).
