Stipend: 61k/month, PPO not mentioned but I assume it's 20LPA.

Round 1. Resume Shortlisting

I applied through a Google form shared in linkedin by the HR.

Round 2. Assignment

HR reached out with an Assignment to build a stock broker app in react native.

Round 3. Technical Discussion Round

A technical discussion round was scheduled with a SDE-2. There were questions about:

• React Internals (hooks, class components, memoization etc.)
• React native Internals (Old Architecutre vs New Architecutre, how does the bridge works, how to write a JS bridge over native modules, new arch overview, optimizing the app, expo, secure storage, etc.)
• A live coding round to build a todo list in codesandbox with features like adding, searching etc.

Round 4. Hiring Manager Round

This was scheduled with a SDE-4 the next day. The questions were about the internship experience:

• What have I worked on, discussions around my experience working with expo
• New arch vs Old arch
• Why are you a right fit
• Strength and weakness
• Why Groww
• How to deal with management and how do you approach tasks etc.

Verdict

Selected.
I didn't join cause the mentioned stipend was less than my current internship and also I have a PPO at my current internship.

But it was a great learning experience.
