Interview experience for RazorPay Lead Software Engineer role @ Bangalore

Applied on linkedin (Aug end), got interview call after ~1 week
My background:
YOE: ~6 years
Education: Tier 1
Current company: Product based startup (RMG company). Member of core team and knows all systems in and out.

Preparation:
Not much, started job hunting the day RMG news came out. Being member of core team helped me a lot. 1 week DSA (google last 6 months) and scanned major system design in bytebytego website, preped LLD and machine coding using codewitharyan.

Round 1: System Design (45 mins)
Design job scheduler. This was my first system design interview. Did pretty well. Verdict - Hire

Round 2: Machine Coding (2hr)
Design Load Balancer. Its a rest application with few endpoints to manage the configs like add/remove backend server, update timeouts, healthcheck endpoints etc. Apart from config apis, all other routes should be load balanced and sent to real (online mocked) backend servers.

Expectation: A fully working code with extensible for dynamic config changes, algorithms. You could refer online resources but avoid generating code or directly copy-pasting

Almost finished working code. Couldn't show actual online requests due to restrictions on laptop (I was coding on my company laptop :) )
Verdict - Hire

Round 3: System Design + LLD (45 mins)
Design google docs with ACL. Focus was on storage, database schema and how to sync (actual implementation).
Verdict - Hire

Round 4: HM (30 mins)
Majorly focussed on my current role and expectation.

Round 5 & 6: TA + HR (30 mins)
Majorly focussed on my current role and expectation.

Got offer after ~2.5 weeks from last interview.
