Rapid fire verbal technical screen over 15 minute duration.

1. How many MB are in 1 GB?
2. If I have 80% chance of making a basket, what's the probability I miss 3 in a row?
3. Imagine you have a million documents each containing set of words. How would you design a system that takes in a search query (like a single word) and returns all documents containing that word. The interviewer also cared about "how would you scale it?"

Reflections

• 15 minutes for 3 questions rapid fire kinda weird especially with cramming a system design for Q3 with 5 minutes to go
• Interviewer didn't answer any of my clarifying questions and was very low energy. It was really obvious the interviewer didn't want to be here
• Really rushed interview. No conversation. Felt like an exam. One of the worst interviews
