Hey everyone!
I recently went through the interview process for a Software Development Engineer role at Arintra, and wanted to share my experience:

Profile
Education: B.tech from Tier-2 college.
YOE: 1.6

Interview Process
Contacted by the HR after she found my profile on Instahyre.
She scheduled the interviews within a few days, the process was quite smooth and quick.

Total Rounds: 3
Mode: Virtual

Round 1 - DSA & Problem Solving

Duration: ~60 mins
Type: 2 LeetCode Medium-level problems
Topics: Arrays, Stack, Greedy and Hashing
Focus was on writing clean, optimized code and explaining the approach clearly.

Round 2 - System Design (HLD + LLD)

Duration: ~60 mins
Problem: Design BookMyShow
Covered both High-Level Design (entities, service interactions, scalability, caching) and Low-Level Design (class design, relationships, seat booking logic).

Round 3 - Discussion with Head of Engineering

Unfortunately, the position got filled before the final evaluation, so I didn’t move forward.

Edit:

The position reopened, and I got a call again for the same role. On the call, I mentioned that I had already completed two technical rounds earlier and only the final round was pending.

Round 3

This was a typical managerial discussion. Questions revolved around my work experience, reasons for switching, a few behavioral scenarios, and some deep dives into my past projects. Nothing too technical, more about understanding my thought process and ownership in previous roles.

Round 4 — Discussion with CEO

Had a really good conversation with the CEO, Mr. Nitesh Shroff. After a quick intro, he asked a medium-level DSA question in a vague manner, mainly to see my coding approach and clarity of thought. Later, we discussed my work experience, a few behavioral aspects, and the company’s vision, challenges, and roadmap. Overall, he was super chill and insightful to talk to.
