Just sharing my interview experience hope it helps someone preparing for Groww interviews!

How I got the opportunity

I was referred by an employee at Groww and got the interview call directly after sharing my resume. All the rounds on same day.

Round 1 — DSA (1 hour)

The round focused on core data structures and algorithms, with two LeetCode easy–medium problems:

1.Single Element in an Array
2.Container With Most Water

I started with brute-force solutions, then walked through optimized approaches for both.
After solving, the interviewer briefly discussed my projects. Overall, the round went well.

Round 2 — DSA + AI (1 hour, back-to-back)

The first half was a deep discussion around my AI/GenAI projects and understanding of LLMs — mainly to check my interest and knowledge.

In the second half, I was given a design-style problem, not typical DSA.
The task was to form pairs (3 girls and 2 boys) based on certain priorities, and I had to write pseudocode and explain my reasoning.

The round went fine overall.

HR Round

An HR round was planned, but just before it started, I was informed that the feedback wasn’t positive, so it didn’t happen.

Final Thoughts

Although I didn’t move forward, it was a great learning experience. My knowledge in AI/ML wasn’t very strong, that might have affected the feedback.
