It's time for me to give back to the community. I recently interviewed with Workday. Here's a summary of the interview process.

Round 1:

• Online assessment via Hackerrank. Had one questions, 35 mins - LC Hard. I solved using a modified/slightly optimized brute force which didn't clear all test cases (2 out of 11 not cleared). Yet, I received a call for the next round.

Virtual on-site

• 5 rounds. First two rounds were cultural fit and hiring manager rounds (30 mins each). Third round was with Director of engineering who asked me an LC easy and we discussed a lot of approaches to solve the problem, and which one would fit certain constraints the best (30 mins again). Last two were purely coding rounds (1 hour each). The position required Java knowledge so it was a mixture of LC easy/medium + Java based questions. I feel that I did fairly well on all rounds and solved all questions optimally. The interviewers seemed happy.

Received an email from the recruiter 10 days later that they decided to go ahead with another candidate.
