This post is about my interview expereince for sde intern role at emergent.sh

I was quite excited as this was the first in-office Interview that I have given.

what I was asked was design google search

I did both HLD, LLD for that involving search page ranking (in a optimized manner) debouncing and throttling optimizations on frontend, trending searches based on Input query (for example If I search for "Ro" It should show suggestions like "Ronaldo", "Ronald weasley", e.t.c...).

It was around 1 hr.

after that was asked questions regd. my past experiences and tech stack.

verdict :- rejected
